MISSION STATEMENT
The Yokosuka Co-Op Preschool is a private, non-profit, non-discriminatory
organization supported entirely by tuition, donations and fundraising.  In
accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws, the Executive Board manages
the Yokosuka Co-Op Preschool under the jurisdiction of  Commander, Fleet
Activities Yokosuka.  The Yokosuka Co-Op Preschool maintains a racially
nondiscriminatory policy as to students, faculty and staff and does not
discriminate against applicants or students on the basis of race, color, or
national or ethnic origin.

The Yokosuka Co-Op Preschool endeavors to offer the highest quality early
childhood care and educational programs to military-connected children
between the ages of three and five on the Yokosuka Naval Base.  As a
cooperative preschool, the Yokosuka Co-Op Preschool actualizes this mission
through the active involvement of all of its families and through the employment
of skilled early childhood educators and administrators.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
A 2-Day (Tuesdays and Thursdays) Program is available for children 3 years of
age by September 1st of the current school year.  A 3-Day (Mondays,
Wednesdays, Fridays) and 5-Day (Monday - Friday) Program is offered for
children 4 years of age prior to September 1 of the current school year.  
Classes are held Monday through Friday from 0830-1300.

PRIVACY POLICY


SY 2010-2011 In-House registration for current students and
siblings will be held March 15- March 19 , In-House registration for
waitlisted students and alumni will be held March 22-26.  
Registration forms are now available for pick-up or download.

Short waitlist in the 3-Day Class, space is limited.  Please contact the
Office at 243-4436 for additional information.

Due to fire/safety requirements, NO STROLLERS will be allowed in the building.  
Also due to severe children's allergies, the Yokosuka Co-Op Preschool is a
PEANUT FREE ZONE.  
Parking Update :According to the CFAY traffic safety office, it has been decided to designate the first three
parking spaces (coming from 3rd ave.) for drop off/pick up purposes (temp signs coming soon).
Non residents
need to refrain from parking in the housing area for any amount of time.
Please make sure that you only park in the designated spaces long enough to drop off or pick up.  If you need
to conduct additional business, please find alternate parking. Also please refrain from parking in the housing
area for any amount of time.
